Expert Training

The single most important reason to attend the Success Conference is training.  Classes are targeted at your skill level with Rapidform, with new user, intermediate and advanced tracks available.  Class topics this year include:

• Scan cleanup & optimization
• Best practices for aligning & merging multiple scans
• Creating solid models from 3D scans
• Speciality sessions in how to get parametric models into:
  • SolidWorks
  • Pro/E Wildfire
  • Siemens NX
• Autosurfacing best practices
• How to use your 3D scanner with Rapidform
• Hybrid modeling (surfaces + solids together)
• Introduction to new features in XOR3/RapidWorks 3.0
• GD&T inspection

Every class is limited to 15 or fewer trainees to give everyone the opportunity to interact with the instructor. Our instructors are all certified trainers with deep expertise in Rapidform software.

Certification

Improve your skills & increase your market value by becoming an official member of the Rapidform community of experts. After completing training at the Success Conference, you will receive a Certificate showing your level of expertise with Rapidform XOR, XOS, XOV or RapidWorks.

Network with Industry Players

You’ll be among a group of dedicated Rapidform users, many with years of experience in 3D scanning. Meet peers who use Rapidform and a wide variety of 3D scanners to scan everything from archeological dig sites to next generation aircraft. Share war stories, learn new tips & tricks, see others’ workflows and trade business cards to stay in touch year-round. At Wednesday night’s Industry Reception you’ll be able to meet with all the major 3D scanning vendors and see the variety of systems, from laser scanners to CT machines, that can be used to collect 3D data.

Registration is $999 per attendee — half the cost of attending a regular 3 day Rapidform training session.  Each conference registration includes:

• 20+ hours of hands-on training
• Solution workshops with expert Rapidform engineers
• Breakfast, lunch & refreshments each day
• Celebration dinner aboard the M/V Commodore yacht on the San Francisco Bay
• USB memory stick with all conference materials (tutorials, movies and sample data sets)
• Rapidform Success Polo shirt

Because all training is hands-on, you will also need to bring a laptop capable of running Rapidform or we will provide you with a PC for the duration of the conference for $199.
